One of the most important Internet conferences in the region is just days away! Are you ready for WebFest.me? We are! We are ready and excited and can not wait to meet all the wonderful and inspiring people that will be there!

In preparation for two amazing days ahead of us, we want to let you know what will be going on. The first day of the conference will start with a panel discussion between Joško Mrndže, Country Manager at Google Adriatics, Dejan Nikolić, founder of Njuz.net and Ivan Brezak Brkan, founder and Editor-in-Chief of Netokracija/Netocratic.

Carolina Rossi, Business Development Director at Start Up Chile, will give a speech on startup based economy. Brian Wong, the founder of kiip, will follow her with a talk about his “moments” based model, and afterwards we will hear from Lissi Mack-de-Boer, Chief Sales Officer of Sedo, on the value of the domain. From Vedran Bajer, an Industry manager at Google, we will learn about innovation in his company.

The first day of the conference will finish interestingly, with WebUp competition where one web start-up company will be selected to present itself at Disrupt TechCrunch 2013 in New York in May 2013. The remaining of the evening will be spent on a Start Up Chile meetup and, of course, a party. ;)

Zé Fontainhas, the founder of the Portuguese WordPress community, will kick off the second day of the conference with his lecture on creating & controlling your own data. Creator of Mosquito.me Miloš Milošević will give a speech “My life is web” which will be followed by a lecture on the importance of content by Ivan Brezak Brkan.

Remember last year?

We are proud to say that Haakon Wium Lie, CTO of Opera, will be joining us and talking to us about CSS & HTML. Milica Begović Radojević, team leader from UNDP, has prepared a lecture “Foursquare for development”. She will be followed by another geek girl, Heidi Harman, co-founder of GeekGirlMeetup.com, who will share her views on unlocking potential in women.

We are quite sure you use about.me, so you will be happy to find out that its co-founder Ryan Freitas will give a lecture on decoding UX design! Ruth Burr, Lead SEO at SEOmoz, will tell us all about SEOmoz wonders and Boris Krstović from (NewsCurve) has prepared a very important lecture for startups on how to start, pivot and exit.

As you can see, the schedule is packed, the speakers are awesome and it even seems the weather should serve us. So, pack your bags and get ready, because we are waiting for you at Webfest.me! :)
