Top 5 Apps For Kids In App Store: Learning Can Be Fun!

By Dora Jelaković, July 23, 2013

More than anything else, kids are always attracted to visual things. Sounds, colors and animations are something that captures their attention – they can be devoted to these things hours on end. There is a problem however – spending too much time in front of the TV or computer can seriously harm kids, and this is why it’s important to teach kids how to properly and safely use these devices.

Time spent in front of a device should be limited and used wisely. This is exactly why Domain.Me team has decide to present you with a list of creative and interactive apps for preschool kids that you can install on your iPad, iPhone or Mac and use it anytime and anywhere. In the end, we want nothing but the best four all toddlers!

1. Tiles Slider Puzzle (Free)

We all know kids love puzzles! It’s one of the most forward thinking activities. Tiles Slider Puzzle comes free and is available on all Apple devices. Both you and your children will be entertained. Playing with it develops brain activity, patience and teaches kids to focus on what they do. Also, you can use your own photos from iPhone to create the puzzle!

2. Hidden Object game for Kids ($0.99)

Hidden object games are so much fun! Hidden Object game for Kids can be great fun not only for your kids but also for the whole family. This game enriches the vocabulary and keeps children busy for quite some time.

3. Can You Match ($0.99)

Who doesn’t like good memory games? They are really great for developing children’s memory capacity and split second thinking. 4. Draw for iPad (Free)

Drawing is something every kid loves to do – it’s by far their favorite activity (well, besides taking an afternoon nap :)). They are exploring colors and shapes and are familiarizing themselves with the world through their drawings. Possibilities with drawing are endless and with Draw for iPad you can digitize that process! Drawing is their way of expressing everything that is happening around them and in their minds. It develops imagination and creativity and it is also a great way to keep your children entertained!

5. Write & Learn 123 Counting ($0.99)

Little bit of math for the end! Even though kids tend to stay away from math,Write & Learn 123 Counting app will help them learn how to count and write numbers. It is easy, educational and fun in the same time! When kids have first interaction with math, they need a little push to help them understand how it all fits together, and what a better way to figure everything out than through an app. Once they start learning numbers they will realize everything around them can be counted!

We sincerely hope these apps will keep your toddlers entertained hours at a time. After all, what is learning if there isn’t a bit of fun in it? 🙂
