Why Would You Want A Giant, Chunky Knit Blanket? Oh…
That’s right. While they might look strange at first glance, Ohhio.Me’s giant woolen blankets might just be the world’s coziest! Made from ‘super chunky’ Australian Merino wool yarn, these original blankets (as well as hats and pillows) are made with 40-millimeter knitting needles.
The extra-soft 100% Australian Merino wool means that it’s perfect not just for winter nights when you have a lot of clothes on, but also the summer, for wearing against bare skin.
70 Shades of Giant Knitted Blankets
Forget Grey. But not gray. It’s one of the 70 different shades of color you can order a blanket in, with the medium 40’x60′ Medium blanket starting at $480, while the extra large 64’x80′ costing $650.
Why Did Anna Create Ohhio.Me?
It seems that the founder of Ohhio.Me, Anna, started knitting as a hand-based hobby to escape from her day job as a designer, which didn’t give her as many opportunities to use her hands to work on designs.
