By Tena Šojer, June 11, 2014

Haven’t heard of  Spark.Me? Well, we certainly don’t believe that,  but just in case you’ve been living on Antarctica, let’s start off by saying that it is an interactive conference designed to unlock your creativity. For the second year in a row, some of the best international speakers will be flocking to Budva on June 19 and 20, to talk to you about business, motivation and creativity. If that alone is not enough, here are five more reasons you should register for the conference and head to Budva, Montenegro next week:

1. Allow me to paint you a picture

White stone houses, bright red roofs, sunny squares, sandy beaches and the ea softly hitting the shores. This is Budva, where the conference is taking place. Attend some motivating speeches. Go for a swim in the Adriatic. Grab a cocktail or two. Feel the sand on your feet. Repeat.   Is there a better summer venue?

2. Let’s Throw Around Some Names

John Biggs needs no further introduction- if you’re into tech at all, you’ve read his pieces on TechCrunch. Petek MatevzFounder of Povio and a multi-time Freestyle Snowboarding World Cup Winner. Scott Berkun, author of the bestseller The Year Without Pants. Alf Rehn, internationally business thinker, management professor. David Raskino– entrepreneur, coder, Director of Microsoft Ventures. Thought leader, Amazon.ca bestselling author, speaker, and a co-founder of Wedge15 Gloria Roheim McRae. VC partner at Teres Capital, Max Gurvits. The list goes on and on and on.

3. Ready, Steady, Startup!

The startup scene is always interesting, new ideas seem to just be flying around and newly minted entrepreneurs are coming to Budva to participate in the Startup Academy and win us over through their pitches in the Startup Competition. Ten teams have ben chosen out of pool of applicants: Slovenian Edgar, Croatian LIVE GOOD, Serbian FishingBooker, Awakening of Heroes and CyberCity, Russian Anchor.travel, German 3DHair, Czech Ingen.io , Israeli Meetey  and USA-based Fliiby. Learn about succesful startups from the region and what they can offer

4. Find Your Spark

Listen to the speaker tell the stories of how they found that spark and motivation to start their entrepreneurial adventures, learn from their experiences, catch the startup enthusiasm and use your free time in beautiful Budva for some soul searching, to find out what gets you going and where you want to go.

5. Grow That Network

Lets do some simple math:

Awesome venue + amazing internationally recognized speakers + up and coming startups + media + entrepreneurs creative spirits from all over the world = an amazing networking opportunity.  Meet new like- or completely different-minded people at Spark.Me,widen your horizons and expand your business and personal network.

Now, I really think that is enough to start planning your trip to Montenegro, but just in case you’re still hesitating, here is a photo of Budva:
