PODGORICA, June 22th, 2011 – DoMEn, in cooperation with IEDC Bled School of Management, has chosen six among thirty enthusiastic and entrepreneurially-oriented undergraduate and graduate students to attend prestigious IEDC School of Management in Bled, Slovenia. Scholarship winners are students from the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (University of Montenegro) and Faculty of International Economics, Finance and Business (University of Donja Gorica). Scholarship in the amount of 1.500 EUR per student was announced in May 2011, and it covers tuition, travel and accomodation costs.
“Ever since its foundation DoMEn has been investing in young people in Montenegro. We have donated computers to primary and secondary schools, we sponsored three summer schools of computer science, and for the first time in the history of Montenegro we are sending the national team to the Olympiad in Informatics, this year hosted by Thailand.” says Predrag Lesic, CEO of DoMEn. “In the past couple of years DoMEn delivered lectures at numerous faculties in Montenegro, where we noticed students´ entrepreneurial spirit and desire to learn, and therefore decided to award these young people with scholarships for Discover Management Program (DMP) at IEDC Bled. The future of Montenegro, as well as the future of the entire region, is with these people since they posses sufficent technical knowledge and understand concepts of contemporary business and success“ adds Lesic.

IEDC Bled School of Management is a prestigious business school with 25-year long tradition and the aim of taking management education and business efficiency in transit economies to the next level. According to “The Independent”, a British daily, “Bled has the best small business school in Europe”.
