About Nash Vail’s beginnings
To become a great designer, in addition to many qualities and skills, you need to be passionate about your job.
Well, passion is the ultimate driving force behind versatility and persistence. While versatility aids professional development, persistence ensures you continue pursuing your dreams even when the road gets bumpy.
Such genuine passion allows you to love everything about what you do. It pushes your limits and makes you enjoy every step of your professional journey. Typically, you’ll express it at an early age and it’ll keep changing and developing as you grow. Our MEr Nash Vail went through a similar process as well.
As early as he can remember, Nash was interested in design, illustration, and visual representation of the world surrounding him. He used shapes and colors as tools for telling stories, expressing ideas, and bringing various objects to life.
However, despite his early interest, a Dribbble invite made him show the world that he can be great at designing. Once he became a part of the Dribbble crew, he was not as active as he could have been. As a matter of fact, during this time, he started pursuing his interest in programming, which later helped him to become a front-end developer.
But that was not the end of his love affair with design. After graduating from high school, Nash came across the book called About Face which got him interested in visual art.
And this time, the interest was there to stay.
Nash Vail: The road so far

About personal branding
Nash Vail believes that your personal brand should allow you to be yourself. Always.
Your personality, authenticity, and uniqueness should be enough to open the right doors for you. And your personal brand should reflect exactly who you are. You shouldn’t maintain, hone, or alter it in any way to make it look better in the public eye.
Although he doesn’t use his website to acquire new clients, Nash understands the importance of owning the content you create. Having a personal website enables you to build something that is entirely yours. You can share what you want with others and at the same time capitalize on your unique personality.
With that in mind, it’s only logical that Nash decided to use our .ME domain as his digital home. A personal web address like this one allows him to go all in and truly express himself.
To succeed at work and build a name for yourself, you should be considered a true expert in your field. However, if you want to become a thought leader in your industry one day, you need something more. You need to have a remarkable skillset, followed by a well-rounded professional background.
As you can see, determination, versatility, authenticity, digital proaction, love for what you do, and perseverance does the trick. If you have these qualities, you’re surely going to make it in the professional world, just like Nash Vail did.
