H1 2025 .ME PREMIUM DOMAIN REPORT
In a brave new world where AI is revolutionising the web, new and repurposed TLDs are making their mark, and Web3 identifiers are emerging as alternatives to traditional digital identities, one constant remains: the value of a premium domain name. The trend of acquiring attractive domains across multiple TLDs for anywhere from €100K to several millions continued in 2025. Likewise, the first six months of the year were quite successful for .ME. The number of premium registrations rose to 34, compared to “just” 16 in the first half of 2024, with an average price of €6,500 per domain. More importantly, newly registered names from the H1 2025 Premium Domain Report are primarily keywords or two-character domains, reaffirming the idea that brevity and memorability remain key factors driving perceived value among brand owners, startups and domain investors.
Premium Domain Sales – Facts and Figures
The numbers apply to H1 2025 Report (January 1st – June 30th) and include the stats on .ME premium domains registered through the registrar channel.
Total number of premium .ME domains registered – 34.
Total revenue – 222,500 EUR. [*excluding the registrar’s margin, typically between 15% to 25%].
Most active registrars are GoDaddy (7 domains), Cloudflare (5 domains), and Gandi and Gname (3 domains each). The remaining 16 domains were registered by 9 other registrars.
Top countries include the United States (18 domains), China (3 domains) and Proxy (2 domains).
Total number of 1 & 2 character domains is 10.
Among the domain users from the H1, 2025 batch Renee Rapp certainly wins the popularity contest. Interscope Records, a Santa Monica-based label owned by Universal Music Group, registered bite.me for the upcoming album by the Mean Girls star, entitled “Bite Me”. The domain currently redirects to Rapp’s official online shop. Other notable registrants include Seven Senders GmbH (claim.me), and Empiricus Research (opt.me).
Surprisingly, quite a few of the keyword domains have already been developed. In addition to claim.me and opt.me, truck.me is used for 24/7 Truck Maintenance Support for drivers. Further, partners.me helps business co-owners prevent and resolve conflicts. Finally, seed.me is a software development studio focused on rapidly bring their ideas to life.

Premium For a Cause
While many of our premium domains are powering businesses and personal brands around the world, some serve an entirely different mission – one that gives back. Therefore, as part of our CSR efforts, we allocated zastiti.me (“protect me”) to support initiatives addressing child online safety in Montenegro. The recently launched service was developed by a team of legal, security, and psychology experts. And, it also hosts an SOS line for reporting violence, a digital library, and guidelines for children and parents. This domain serves as a reminder that the right name can spark awareness and drive meaningful change.
